개인정보 처리방침

HottestLab(이하 “운영자”)은 PlaceDict를 이용하는 사람의 개인정보를 중요하게 생각합니다. 이 방침은 서비스가 어떤 개인정보를 왜 처리하고, 얼마나 보관하며, 이용자가 어떤 권리를 행사할 수 있는지 설명합니다.

1. 처리하는 개인정보

이용자가 제공하는 정보

  • Google 로그인 정보: 이메일 주소, 이름, 프로필 이미지, Google 계정 식별자
  • 서비스 콘텐츠: Dictionary 이름과 설명, 공개 주소, 장소 이름·주소·좌표·설명, 업로드한 사진과 대체 텍스트
  • 문의 정보: 이메일로 문의할 때 제공한 이메일 주소와 문의 내용

서비스 이용 과정에서 생성되는 정보

  • 로그인 상태를 유지하기 위한 인증 쿠키와 언어·테마 설정
  • 공개 페이지 조회 중복을 방지하기 위한 무작위 세션 값의 해시와 조회 시각
  • 접속 일시, 브라우저·기기 정보, 이용 기록 등 서비스 운영 과정에서 통상 생성되는 기술 정보
  • Google Analytics가 설정된 경우 페이지 조회와 기능 이용 이벤트

서비스는 주민등록번호, 결제 정보 또는 민감정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 공개할 콘텐츠에 자신이나 다른 사람의 불필요한 개인정보를 입력하지 마세요.

2. 처리 목적

운영자는 다음 목적으로 개인정보를 처리합니다.

  1. 이용자 식별, 로그인 및 계정 보안
  2. Dictionary와 장소 정보의 생성·저장·발행·공유
  3. 이미지 업로드와 공개 버전 제공
  4. 조회수 중복 방지, 서비스 이용 현황 분석 및 품질 개선
  5. 오류 대응, 보안 유지, 부정 이용 방지와 문의 처리
  6. 법령상 의무 이행과 분쟁 대응

3. 보유 및 이용 기간

  • 계정과 비공개 콘텐츠: 계정 삭제 또는 이용 목적 달성 시까지
  • 공개 콘텐츠와 발행 버전: 이용자가 공개를 해제하거나 삭제를 요청할 때까지. 공개 해제 후에도 백업에서 순차적으로 삭제될 수 있습니다.
  • 조회 중복 방지 정보: 생성일로부터 90일
  • 문의 기록: 문의 처리 완료 후 3년 이내에서 분쟁 대응에 필요한 기간
  • 분석 정보: Google Analytics 설정과 Google의 보관 정책에 따른 기간

보유 기간이 끝나거나 처리 목적이 달성되면 복구하기 어려운 방법으로 지체 없이 파기합니다. 다만 법령에 따라 보존해야 하는 정보는 별도로 분리하여 법정 기간 동안 보관합니다.

4. 개인정보 처리의 위탁과 외부 서비스

서비스 운영을 위해 다음 외부 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다.

  • Supabase: 로그인, 데이터베이스, 파일 저장과 서버 인프라
  • Google: OAuth 로그인, Google Maps, 선택적으로 Google Analytics
  • NAVER Cloud: 지도 표시와 장소 검색
  • Apple: MapKit을 통한 지도 표시

각 서비스는 기능 제공 과정에서 필요한 정보를 처리할 수 있으며, 국외에 위치한 서버에서 정보가 처리될 수 있습니다. 실제 처리 국가와 보관 위치는 배포 시 선택한 프로젝트 리전 및 각 제공자의 정책에 따라 달라집니다. 운영자는 외부 서비스를 선정할 때 개인정보 보호와 보안 수준을 확인하고 필요한 계약 및 보호조치를 적용합니다.

운영자는 이용자의 동의가 있거나 법률상 근거가 있는 경우를 제외하고 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.

5. 쿠키와 분석 도구

서비스는 로그인 세션, 언어, 화면 테마를 유지하기 위해 쿠키 또는 로컬 저장소를 사용합니다. 브라우저 설정에서 이를 삭제하거나 차단할 수 있지만, 로그인이나 일부 맞춤 기능이 정상적으로 작동하지 않을 수 있습니다.

Google Analytics가 활성화된 배포에서는 서비스 개선을 위해 가명화된 이용 이벤트를 수집할 수 있습니다. 이용자는 브라우저 설정이나 Google이 제공하는 차단 도구를 통해 분석 정보 수집을 제한할 수 있습니다.

6. 이용자의 권리

이용자는 자신의 개인정보에 대해 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 정지 또는 동의 철회를 요청할 수 있습니다. 요청은 아래 이메일로 접수할 수 있으며, 운영자는 본인 확인 후 관련 법령에서 정한 기간 안에 처리합니다. 법령에 따라 요청이 제한되는 경우 그 사유를 안내합니다.

만 14세 미만 아동은 법정대리인의 동의 없이 서비스를 이용할 수 없습니다. 운영자가 그러한 정보의 수집 사실을 알게 되면 확인 후 삭제합니다.

7. 안전성 확보 조치

운영자는 접근 권한 최소화, 전송 구간 암호화, 비공개 데이터 접근 통제, 보안 업데이트, 백업과 접근 기록 관리 등 개인정보 보호에 필요한 기술적·관리적 조치를 적용합니다.

8. 개인정보 보호 문의

개인정보 침해에 대한 상담이나 분쟁 조정이 필요한 경우 개인정보침해 신고센터(국번 없이 118), 개인정보분쟁조정위원회, 경찰청 또는 대검찰청 등 관계 기관에 도움을 요청할 수 있습니다.

9. 처리방침의 변경

이 방침이 변경되면 시행일과 변경 내용을 서비스에서 알립니다. 이용자 권리에 중대한 영향을 주는 변경은 시행 30일 전, 그 밖의 변경은 시행 7일 전부터 알립니다.

HottestLab (the “Operator”) respects the privacy of people who use PlaceDict. This policy explains what personal information the service processes, why it is processed, how long it is retained, and the rights available to users.

1. Information we process

Information you provide

  • Google sign-in information: email address, name, profile image, and Google account identifier
  • Service content: Dictionary names and descriptions, public addresses, place names, addresses, coordinates, descriptions, uploaded photos, and alternative text
  • Support information: the email address and message you provide when contacting us

Information generated while using the service

  • Authentication cookies and language or theme preferences
  • A hash of a random session value and view time used to deduplicate public-page views
  • Technical information commonly generated during service operation, such as access time, browser, device, and usage records
  • Page views and feature-use events when Google Analytics is enabled

We do not intentionally collect national identification numbers, payment information, or sensitive information. Do not include unnecessary personal information about yourself or others in public content.

2. Purposes of processing

  1. User identification, sign-in, and account security
  2. Creating, storing, publishing, and sharing Dictionaries and place information
  3. Image uploads and delivery of public versions
  4. View deduplication, service analytics, and quality improvement
  5. Error response, security, abuse prevention, and support
  6. Compliance with legal obligations and dispute handling

3. Retention

  • Accounts and private content: until account deletion or the purpose of processing is fulfilled
  • Public content and published versions: until you unpublish or request deletion; removal from backups may happen gradually
  • View-deduplication records: 90 days from creation
  • Support records: only as long as reasonably necessary for dispute handling, up to three years after resolution
  • Analytics data: according to the configured Google Analytics retention period and Google’s policies

When retention ends, information is deleted in a way that makes recovery impractical. Information required by law is separated and retained for the applicable statutory period.

4. Processors and external services

  • Supabase: authentication, databases, file storage, and server infrastructure
  • Google: OAuth, Google Maps, and optionally Google Analytics
  • NAVER Cloud: maps and place search
  • Apple: maps through MapKit

These providers may process necessary information, including on servers outside Korea. Processing location depends on the deployed project region and each provider’s policies. We do not disclose personal information to third parties without consent or another lawful basis.

5. Cookies and analytics

The service uses cookies or local storage for sign-in sessions, language, and theme preferences. Blocking them may prevent sign-in or personalization from working correctly. When Google Analytics is enabled, pseudonymous usage events may be collected to improve the service. Browser controls and Google’s opt-out tools can limit analytics collection.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent by contacting the email below. We verify the requester and respond within the period required by applicable law. We explain any lawful limitation on a request. Children under 14 may not use the service without consent from a legal guardian.

7. Security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards such as least-privilege access, encryption in transit, private-data access controls, security updates, backups, and access-log management.

8. Privacy contact

People in Korea may also seek help from the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (118), the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee, the police, or the prosecution service.

9. Changes to this policy

We announce the effective date and details of changes through the service. Material changes affecting user rights are announced 30 days in advance; other changes are announced seven days in advance.
